School meals are available to encourage children to eat healthy, well-balanced meals at school. The cost of a school meal is £2.40 for years 4, 5 and 6.
Universal Free School Meals (uFSM)
We are pleased to inform you that we will be rolling out free school meals to all year 3 pupils (current year 2 pupils) from 1 September 2023. Please note that SIMS and Cunninghams will be updated on your behalf to reflect the change. Could you please share the following message with your parents/carers: Further to previous correspondence, we are pleased to announce we will be rolling out free school meals to all year 3 pupils (current year 2 pupils) 1 September 2023. Please note this will be automatic and there will be no requirement to apply for the meals. We aim to roll out to further year groups as soon as possible and will update you on our progress in due course.
iPayImpact
Our online payment provider for school meals and trips is changing from September. We will no longer be using sQuid, and the new provider will be CRB Cunningham’s (iPayImpact).
We advise that you run the balances down before the end of term, as school meal accounts will start from a ‘fresh’ £0.00 balance in September.

iPayImpact is an online payment provider that can be used to make a variety of school payments. Parents can use iPayImpact to pay for school payments such as school meals and payments for School Trips /activities/ clubs/ events .
Registration letters for the new Cunningham's iPayImpact payent system will be sent home on the last day of term.
Nursery will receive their letters in September when we return to school.
Free School Meals
If you believe that your child/ren may qualify for entitlement to free school meals you can find out more on www.swansea.gov.uk/freeschoolmeals where you can also make an online application or print off a paper form to send to the Civic Centre. If you have any queries about free school meals you can contact 01792 635353 or email freeSchoolMeals@swansea.gov.uk or visit the contact centre in the Civic Centre. This allowance is a statutory right and it is important that you use it if you qualify.
The Welsh Government gives an extra grant for every child that is entitled to and claims free school meals. It can be an extra significant bonus to the school.
