Welcome to the Parkland Parents Association (PPA) The Parkland Parents Association (PPA) is an active group dedicated to supporting Parkland Primary School. As a registered charity in England & Wales (532337), the PPA welcomes involvement from all members of the school community, including parents, caregivers, grandparents, relatives, staff, and community members. Join us in making a positive impact on the education and experiences of Parkland students. Benefitting pupils through fundraising joys!

The Parkland Parents Association (PPA) is dedicated to supporting Parkland Primary School by raising funds for important projects. The PPA achieves this through a variety of engaging and enjoyable events, including the Parkland Summer Fete, Christmas Fayre, clothes swap, uniform exchange, pop-up Mother’s Day shops, raffles, discos, and plenty more festivities. The PPA's goal is to raise funds for school initiatives, both big and small, while also fostering community and fun for parents, teachers, and pupils alike.

Making an impact in Parklands Over the past six years, the Parkland Parents Association (PPA) has made a significant impact at Parkland Primary School through its contributions and purchases, including:

● Regeneration of School Quad Areas

● Installation of Rainbow Benches in the Junior Play Area

● Large Wooden Play Fort in Junior Yard

● Support for Year 6 End-of-Year Farewell Celebration

● Storage Shed

● Defibrillator

● New Play Equipment

● And More!

The Parkland Parents Association Facebook group is a supportive and inclusive community for parents and carers. The closed group provides a space to share updates, participate in fundraisers, have fun, and connect with each other. Join us as we work together to support Parkland Primary School.

Ways to get involved There are lots of ways to be involved with the PPA. Here are just a few:

● Be a volunteer. We always need help at events, running stalls, organising food, drinks, and fun.

● Send us your thoughts and ideas for events and activities we could put on.

● Come along to the PTA meetings (the Facebook group posts the dates.

● Use your skills. Everyone has a way to contribute, be it helping us find gifts or prizes, or digging the veggie patch - we need everyone.
