Welcome to the Higher Phase. 

The new school year has started out as busy as ever!

Our topic this term is: Against the Odds

We started our learning about governance by visiting the Senedd, the Welsh Parliament. We saw how the Members of the Senedd voted on important issues for Wales, which we got to try out for ourselves in the debating chamber.

Our resident artist, Clive Biscoe, has been visiting to help us to script, design, record, and direct films based upon our class novel ‘The Island’ by Armin Greder. The story teaches us that many people are treated unfairly because of their differences, helping us to become ethically informed citizens.
