Punctuality

The school places high importance on punctuality. The school day starts at 8:50 am, and gates open at 8:40 am to ensure children can enter the classroom as the bell sounds. In inclement weather, classroom doors will open at 8:40 am. The junior gates also open at 8:40 am and the yard is supervised by staff, therefore children can come onto the site from this time, in readiness for the beginning of the day. The infant yard is not supervised so we request for safeguarding reasons that younger children are not left unattended. 

Reporting Absences

If your child is unwell, please contact the school office before 9:30 am with a reason for the absence. 

Holidays

We actively encourage parents not to take children out of school during term time. Our attendance target is 98% and to improve pupil attendance, holidays during term time will be at the head teachers' discretion.
